A. Biodegradability Kit
A NEW and INNOVATIVE Environmental Science Kit for Teachers and pupils to conduct experiments.
• Used to demonstrate materials bio-
degrading in compounds and liquids of their
choice (not supplied)
• The Kit comes with 6 specially designed
containers and a number of clips and cages
to hold the materials in place
• In addition the Kit comes with a quantity
of metal, card and biodegradable plastic samples to experiment with, and a project work book is provided
• Pupils should be encouraged to bring their own materials to conduct experiments and observe the amount, and rate of degrading over time, in differing materials and liquids
• The Bio Degradability Kit has been designed to support the Teaching of Geography and Science within the National Curriculum framework and encourage discussion on Sustainability and Environmental issues
