An upgraded version of the J3-18, it also boasts an automatic one-step buttonhole which makes it easy to sew consistent and neat buttonholes. It's just as easy to operate with a dial for stitch selection and another for adjusting stitch length and still features a helpful automatic needle threader and a one-hand thread cutter. It also has a convertible free arm, which makes it easier to sew trouser legs and sleeve cuffs.
