Gel mediums are simple acrylic paint without the pigment. Mix the gel with colour or apply over dried paint.

Gloss Gel will dry to give a clear glossy luminosity, increasing the brilliance of colours. Matt Gel has matting agents added so the luminosity is diminished and the effect will be beautifully frosted. It will also affect the colour of the paint.
