Percussion Plus Soprano Diatonic Metallophone

This model is produced by the well known Percussion Plus factory and is part of a complete range of Classic Red Box products. Anything made by Percussion Plus is immediately identifiable through its bright red paint and due to the fact they are produced entirely in the UK in a bespoke, long standing facility. Here at Chamberlain Music we have been successfully selling Percussion Plus instruments for nearly 30 years. They are built well, have excellent tuning stability and last very well in the sometimes challenging environment of a busy school. This particular model is the soprano diatonic instrument. It has 13 notes which are mounted on the solid timber frame. It also has an additional 2 x F# and 1 x Bb included so you can play in the keys of C, G and F major. The sound is consistent and resonant. It has more than enough power for occasional use in the school band but also works well in a classroom ensemble environment. The PP018 soprano chromatic half (see 'recommended accessory' portion of this web listing) is designed to fit with this model to create an entirely chromatic instrument.
