Separating Materials Kit

A kit to show how different mixtures of materials can be separated. It will allow children to understand terms such as evaporate, filter, insoluble and dissolve. The kit contains: 5kg sand, 1kg salt (sodium chloride), 1kg rock salt, 10 x 100cm³ plastic beakers, 10 plastic stirrers, 10 filter funnels, pack of 100 filter papers 12.5cm, 1 pestle and mortar, 15 petri dishes and photocopiable sheets.
