Significant Individuals Deskmats

This set of 6 A3 deskmats features 12 significant people from history, including from the twentieth century. Taking its inspiration from the new history National Curriculum for Key Stage 1, the set allows comparisons between two monarchs (Elizabeth I and Queen Victoria), two explorers (Christopher Columbus and Neil Armstrong), two equal rights campaigners (Emily Davison and Rosa Parks), two wartime nurses (Florence Nightingale and Edith Cavell), two scientists (Isaac Newton and Tim Berners-Lee) and two politicians (Oliver Cromwell and Nelson Mandela).
