Customer Update: Operations & Shipping Status

We hope you are doing well.

Given the ongoing situation in the Middle East, we would like to reassure our customers that our operations continue to run as normal. At present, there are no confirmed disruptions affecting our current shipments, and orders are continuing to move through our standard supply channels from the UK into the UAE.

As with any global logistics environment, there is always the possibility of minor fluctuations in transit times, particularly where shipping routes or port congestion may be affected. However, we are not currently experiencing any delays.

Our team is actively managing all inbound shipments and will continue to monitor the situation closely. Should anything change, we will provide proactive updates and revised ETAs where necessary. To minimise potential disruption, we are also utilising alternative routing options where required, such as redirecting vessels through Khor Fakkan Port. We are monitoring capacity at this port closely as the situation remains fluid.

It is also worth noting an important point regarding the wider global shipping environment. Due to the ongoing regional situation, war risk surcharges are currently being applied across international shipping, typically ranging between $2,000–$4,000 per container, depending on the route and carrier.

Despite these additional costs being introduced across the logistics sector, Dryad continues to absorb these charges in full. Our price lists are published annually each January, and we remain committed to maintaining those agreed prices even when unexpected logistical costs arise, whether due to fuel fluctuations, route diversions, or war risk surcharges.

As a precautionary measure, we recommend placing upcoming orders as early as possible to allow maximum flexibility within the supply chain.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will keep customers informed of any developments. In the meantime, all operations remain fully active and business continues as usual.
