This kit contains all the necessary information to investigate the effects of toothpastes, mouth washes, soaps, deodorants, shampoos, antiseptics and disinfectants, on the growth of microbes. Included in the kit are easy to follow instructions giving two methods for producing bacterial lawn plates and two methods for their use. Also supplied are two bacterial cultures: Micrococcus luteus (a Gram positive coccus) and Escherichia coli (a Gram negative rod).

Kit does not contain but requires the following: Petri dishes, beaker, marker pen, pipettes, filter paper cut into discs (sterile discs), tape, forceps.
