As a baby's eyes are developing and learning to focus on the world around them, simple black and white patterns are much easier for them to see. Right from the start, these Black and White Sensory Flashcards from Hope begin developing a baby's visual perception. The cards feature an illustration on one side with the word on the reverse, meaning they can still be used as children get older. Themes include animals, patterns and common objects.

Instructions for use:

• Hold a card 20 – 30cm away from baby’s face
• Swap cards every 10 – 20 seconds for up to 5 minutes
• Repeat every day to increase baby's focus and attention
