Foundation Physics - Loop Track

• The Foundation Physics range centres around the Universal Stand and includes accessories which allow a wide range of experiments to be conducted. Each add-on includes a comprehensive instructional guide with student tasks which are linked to the curriculum.

When used with the Foundation Physics Universal Stand, this Loop Track enables students to investigate how a roller coaster car can stay on the track when it travels in a large, circular loop.

This uses a a straight, 80 cm long portion of the track with a marble to investigate acceleration. The circular portion lets students experimentally determine the minimum velocity the marble needs to make one full trip around the loop.

The Loop Track includes:
